People in Glass Houses

Glass is a beautiful material for building. Glass is a major material used in modern architecture. Over the years, many glass buildings have been built. They are stunningly beautiful and innovative. Here are a few examples:

The Botanical Garden of Curitiba
The construction, which was built in 1991, was inspired by London’s Crystal Palace from the 19th century. The Crystal Palace is located in the centre of Curitiba, and it’s one of the most popular tourist attractions. The greenhouse is the focal point of the garden and it’s where different species of plants grow. The art nouveau-style building is 450 square meters and has a greenhouse made from glass and metal. It’s surrounded by fountains and waterfalls. Create your own stunning glass house with Residential Architects. Contact Quattro, a leading firm of Residential Architects.

Its most striking feature is its transparency that brings inhabitants closer to the natural world. It was completed in 1951 as a one-room building for Dr. Edith Farnsworth to use as a retreat.
